I love this poem. When I was growing up in...Dennis,
I love this poem. When I was growing up in a very small town, the train would go through town blowing its whistle. The tracks were torn out, but recently new tracks were put down.
As I sit at my computer early in the mornings, I can hear the whistle in the distance and I'm drawn back to yesteryears.Vada and Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15730609308785440146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10994084.post-23975577805245831242010-02-07T15:29:12.372-05:002010-02-07T15:29:12.372-05:00I love this poem, Dennis. I really miss the days ...I love this poem, Dennis. I really miss the days of when a train came through our little town just about every day. So nostalgic. There is talk of it coming back again... for now I'll think of your poem, as it brought such warm, wonderful feelings.
