Changes

I’ve been going through changes
Since the day that we met,
Some that I just don’t understand
And may live to regret.
You have captured my wandering eye
With a new point of view,
That these changes are all worthwhile
If they bring me to loving you.

You gave me the courage to
Walk through the fires of hell.
Trouble come find us.

I can’t imagine
What changes may lie up ahead,
Coated in honey or
Covered in splashes of fiery red.
