Early one morning,
Awake
before dawning,
I
rise with a knowing
Of
missing you.
Broken,
downhearted,
Meager
reflection of me
Since
we parted
And
started anew.
You
are my universe,
Not
just the center,
But
every galaxy
Spinning
in space
From
corner to corner
With
lines infinitum
Unable
to capture
The
joy in your face.
I
have no choice.
My
motive is driven.
The
imminent fate
Of
my faithful return
Is
written in stone
On
the mountains of time,
Wiser
and older,
And
eager to learn.
