Separated from the burgeoning tribe,
Trapped
inside this vast enclosure,
Flitting
and zipping one station to next,
Seeking
the freedom of larger domains.
Not
understanding the wonder of windowpanes,
Trapped
by a barrier one cannot see,
Banging
against it again and again,
Wondering
why my prison remains.
Seeking
contentment, not knowing exactly
What
that may entail, but knowing enough.
Knowing
no purpose except the annoyance of
Creatures
giganticus swatting in vain.
Who
can endure such pervasive perversion?
Mindless
existence can be such toil
Until
all of the sudden, without any warning,
Zapped
to oblivion
Sparing
no pain.
