Epiphany

Dawning sun lifts by degree
Rising out of tragedy,
Blazing into ecstasy.
Poets find epiphany.

Dennis,

What a sunrise you describe as both the sun in nature and the sun inside rise together.

"Epiphany," is a compact journey of the soul.

reading your poem was a nice ay to start my day. It also reminded of the time my son first used the word "epiphany". Stirred a great memory.

Some of my greatest epiphanies have come through close contact with nature. Your poem was an example of how a poet can capture emotion, imagery, and a strong message in a few compact lines. Glad to have met you though the blog chain. -- Donna
